A quick store stop

Marco stops at a small store before work. He needs coffee, bananas, and a sandwich for lunch. The store is busy, so he takes a basket and walks quickly to the food aisle. He finds a bag of coffee and six bananas.

At the counter, the cashier says, “Good morning. Did you find everything?” Marco says, “Yes, thank you. I also need a turkey sandwich, please.” The cashier puts the sandwich in a paper bag and tells him the total: “That’s twelve dollars and forty cents.”

Marco pays with a twenty-dollar bill. The cashier gives him his change and a receipt. Marco checks the time. It is 7:35, and his bus arrives at 7:45. He smiles, says, “Have a good day,” and leaves the store with his breakfast and lunch.
